Da Lat
Da Lat is the capital of Lâm Đồng Province in Vietnam. The city is located 4,900 feet above sea level on the Langbiang Plateau in the southern part of the Central Highlands. The gorgeous backdrop of Da Lat featuring hills and valleys was where much of the Vietnam War was fought. The entire region was sprayed with Agent Orange and so all of the growth is fairly new along with the coffee plantations. The climate is much cooler than the otherwise tropical temperatures of Vietnam, which we appreciated.
